Last week, we talked about personal responsibility at youth group. We used a lot of Jonathan's music clip discussion on Akon's "Sorry, Blame It On Me" for the evening. There was PLENTY to talk about, both about Akon's incident, and things that we had done. Our challenge for the week was to find a way to "right" a situation that we had "wronged" and to remind ourselves that God does not give up on us.All this weekend and in this morning's news, I found this theme repeated and more food for thought on the subject: Michael Vick's unscripted apology regarding his dogfighting operation, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' resignation, and Nicole Richie's incarceration.
We will move onto talking about dealing with the consequences of our actions and how we want to be remembered.
